To the south you'll find a room with a mixed group of foes. Kill them and grab the contents - Lin's awesome Let's Dance! skill. The blue chest is guarded by a trio of FireGoos. The key is used in the larger room to the south. Steal the Explosion skill and kill them all to reveal the treasure key. The first large room there contains a whole bunch of Petrophages. Go through the eastern corridor to get to the eastern side of the floor. When they get low, kill them fast! The second room contains the same enemies, as well as a D-Ratio door. These roaches will sacrifice themselves to deal an amount of damage equal to their current hit points to a single character. You can steal the Explosion shield skill from them, but I must warn you that they are rare. Aside from the easy FireGoos, this floor introduces two more enemies - the Capeks and then Petrophages. The first room contains one such Wonder Box. There are a couple of these on this floor - if you really want to get it, you can always give up and start again from the Storage Telecorder. If you bring him to within 6-10 points from dying you will get Lin's Keep at it! skill! Also, you may wish to heal the thing, to try to bring it closer to death. Basically, you have one round to see how close to zero you can bring the guy.
It is called - 'get me as close to dying without going over'. Kill them all and proceed to the west to find the lift to the next floor. Go west into a larger room with the bat monsters I mentioned previously. The southwestern door will bring you closer to the exit. Go through the northwestern door to find some Odd Hychees.
The first room contains some thieves to kill. The Ebonfires serve their larger cousins - killing off the smaller ones will actually weaken the Baphomet! The Baphomets and Ebonfires are new demon/bat combo monsters. The Bandits steal from you during battle and the Highwaystars grab stuff off of the ground and run for the exits. This area introduces some thieves to the enemy roster.
